Tissue viability protection made easy.

  • Safer inbed care

Easy and intuitive to use, the Biotechsis® inbed system enables safer and easier care of patients confined to bed, as well as their movement and repositioning and stabalising with just one carer.

  • A complete system

Antimicrobial, temperature regulating and moisture wicking together with synergetic layers that allow safe movement; the Biotechsis® system is a complete inbed care system.

  • Prevents tissue harm

Using practice-based evidence and research, Biotechsis® enables safer inbed care whilst protecting the tissue viability of both patients (ie prevents soft tissue harm / pressure damage) and soft tissue harm / musculoskeletal injuries to their carer(s).

Focused on your care

  • At Phil-e-Slide we believe that every patient who is confined to bed deserves an environment in which they can receive the care they need without the worry of having tissue viability issues (commonly known as pressure sores or tissue damage). Likewise, nurses and carers (whether family members or social care workers) want a system that is easy and intuitive to use and that avoids the risk of soft tissue harm / musculoskeletal injuries whilst providing care to their patient, client or loved one.

  • That’s why we developed the Biotechsis® inbed system range of products and have hand-picked a complementary range of patient positioning aids for in and out-of-bed care.

The Biotechsis® inbed care system

  • Designed to replace conventional cotton bed sheets which can cause friction (as repeated movement without the ability to slide can cause shear and tissue harm). Instead, its synergetic interfacing layers create an environment that simulates and complements the body’s own natural system for avoiding stiction, friction, shear and the distortion of soft tissue that can result in tissue harm.

  • Simple yet effective, Biotechsis® products have been designed and
developed to work intuitively and synergetically together. They are constructed with integral grip and slide mechanisms to enable and encourage patient/client independence and mobility.

  • Patient Positioning Aids

Patient positioning aids can be used for both inbed care and out-of-bed care that makes it easier for carers to give a more friendly and effective care management of patients/ clients.
