| Flexi-Discs |

The Flexi-Disc is a pair
of circular ultra-low friction reducing inner surface flexible material
layers, connected at their centre by a strong plastic attachment
which allows the top layer to rotate on the lower layer. The top
is a soft quilted non-slip pad, the underside of the bottom is a
tough man-made non slip surface.
The Flexi-Disc can be used for standing pivot transfers from bed to chair and
seated pivot transfers, on or off the side of a bed or in and out of a car or
bathing seat.
Colour co-ordinated detachable
waterproof covers are now available. These prevent the top from becoming soiled
during
use
which
in turn reduces laundering time. |
